Ingredients :
Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Sodium Chloride, Sucrose, Rhizoma Polygonati Odorati, Radix Codonopsis Pilosulae, Radix Glycyrrhizae, Fructus Piperis Nigri, Panax Quinquefolium L, Fructus Anisi, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, MSG Seasoning, Fructus Foeniculi, Pericarpium Zanthoxyli, R.Rehmanniae Praeparata
Preparation and Seasoning :
1 packet (2 sachets) of Bak Kut Teh herbs & spices
600-1000g meat (pork, lamb, or chicken)
2 bulbs burnt garlic
1.5 liters of water
Method :
Place the Bak Kut Teh herbs & spices and 2 bulbs of garlic into 1.5 liters of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook for 30 minutes.
Add 600-1000g of meat and simmer for another 40 minutes.
Note : Add black soy sauce or additional seasonings to taste, if desired.
